Christmas Cards with Embossing paste

Some simple cards create with embossing paste and stencil (Heidi Swapp) to make the background and the sentiment embossed over coordinating card stock. Added some pearls and ribbon to complete the cards!

Joy to the world

I tried to create some simple christmas card by using some stamps from Altenew's dodecagram ! It does look like christmas ornaments and I am so happy about how the card turned out!

Warmest Blessings - Clear embossing & Distress

Hey,

To make this card, I just clear embossed the sentiment from W&W - Big , bold and the blessings and used distress inks to create the background. I sprayed a lot of water to blend the color, I guess I overdid it :|

I added some sequins in coordinating colors to finish the card !

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Am linking this card for this week's Fusion challenge, since my card has the lovely orange color from the inspiration pic!

Christmas wreath - Love & Joy

Another card, which I tried using the technique to create a wreath with stamps. The stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp Christmas Special. Its a very simple yet colorful card. I think I missed to add the bow, but I don feel that the wreath looks incomplete without it.

Rainbow paper weaving

Hey :)

This card was specially made for my sister's birthday which was in Sep .. I am super late, but she had requested for a card which has all the colors of paper which I have. It took me quite a while to think and finally I decided to try paper weaving. I had tried this technique a long time back when I was in college to make a chess board pattern for a friend's birthday!

The sentiment is from W&W which has been white embossing on a small strip of paper. To finish the card, I added some pearls and I was done! I love how colorful this card looks :)

Lemme know if you like this card!

Rainbow Card - Kraft

Hey,

Another simple and easy card made from some left overs from another card which I made. Will write about that soon.

I just stuck the different strips of paper in a row with different heights to create some interest. Embossed the sentiment from W&W in some white embossing powder. To finish the card, I made the dotted lines and the small sparkles (W&W has a stamp set which has these diamonds, that stampset is on my wishlist) with my white gel pen. I liked how the card turned out :D

Stamping on Kraft paper

Hey friends,

This another simple CAS card in craft. I have used the Hero Arts flower stamp in Versamark ink for some tone on tone look. Stamped the sentiment from W&W on vellum and embossed with some white embossing powder.

To finish the card, I randomly added some black sequins to the card.

:) Hope you liked it.

Vellum - Thanks

Aloha,

Yet another CAS card with some Vellum centrepiece. :) I used the Laceup Stamp from Altenew. They have another fab release lined up for 27 Oct 2014 :D

The image was stamped and white heat embossed on vellum. I dint want to do much since I liked it this way! The sentiment thanks is from SSS and to complete the card, I added some white dotted lines with my white gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by ! :)

Blessings in Kraft

Hey everybody,

I am back with my 3rd card, which is kraft again!!! :D Yes, I did a little paper shopping on the weekend and had to get this beautiful craft paper for my stash! so you will be seeing a lot of cards made from kraft paper :)

This card is pretty CAS and I took some inspiration from Amy Kolling's card for the W&W - PPP blog hop card. I loved the way she used vellum for the sentiment which was heat embossed on it. I dint think of using glue dots earlier which could have avoided the double sided tape showing through the vellum in my card :( but lesson learnt! The sentiment is from W&W - Big , bold and blessings set, which I am loving! :D

Hope you like the card!

Thanks for stopping by!

Linking the 3rd one also for SSS ( linking is allowed for 5 cards and I am gonna use all of them buahahahahha :B) and for Addicted to CAS

Happy Birthday - Kraft + Leaves

Hey there,

This is my second card for the weekend.

I was trying to imaging how a background of leaves on kraft paper would look like and since I had no such stamp, I though to myself - why not try the good old hand drawn images!

So here it goes, I drew the leaves with a black sketch pen and added some white dots with my white get pen. For the sentiment, I used W&W's - Big, bold and happy stamp set which I am loving!

Thanks for stopping by.

Linking my 2nd card for SSS as well.

Sequins ornament - Joy to the world

Hello everyone,

As the weekend is about to get over, so is my rendezvous with the whole card making. Monday to Fridays at the desk job gets so busy that all my crafting mojo disappears :(

Anyways, the next weekend is soon on its way with more fun!

I am sharing all the cards made over this weekend with you guys, starting with the Sequinned Ornaments :D.

Winnie & Walter along with Pretty Pink Posh had this awesome blog hop (link) on Friday the 24th Oct which had so much of inspiration oozing right through it. The collaboration of fabulous designers and the awesome products where shining though!

So, this card was inspired by the awesome awesome Kelly Griglione's card for the blog hop! I loved the way she created the christmas ornament out of sequins! I had to try this one out :D

So here is my take on it.

Hope you like it.

Altenew's October Challenge Card - Laceup

Hello friends,

For this month's challenge, Altenew has a lovely inspiration: Chocolate delight.

October challenge

My take on the challenge looks some thing like this:

I used some dark brown cardstock and the stamp set from Altenew's painted flowers :D I loved this stamp set right from the first look but couldnt get my hands on it , since they were sold out in a wink
:(
However, finally the minute they came back in stock, I got one for myself.

I used the floral outlines and heat embossed them on the brown cardstock with white embossing powder. To assemble the card, I used loads of foam tape to stick the cardstock diagonally on the card. Love the dimensions. For the sentiment, I used the stamp set from Technique tuesday and heat embossed it on a red cardstock strip. I love the contrast of red against the brown. I added some pearls and my card was ready !!!

Hope you liked the card!

Thanks for stopping by.
